All regular and special membership meetings are open to the public, pursuant to the Bylaws and the Uniform Rules of Procedures of Resident Council of Spring Terrace Association, a Texas Nonprofit Association.

All individuals under the age of thirty and the general public, including our members, are encouraged to attend the first committee meeting. There will be discussion and recommendations to the full membership and the Spring Terrace property management and resident services on activities and changes to policies that is beneficial for this growing population.

Joseph Elder and Asti Fisher of The Wright House Wellness Center will host One Night of Pleasure Can Cause a Lifetime of Pain on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 6:30 PM in the Spring Terrace third floor community space.
The presentation will cover STD education and prevention topics and provide free condoms. There will be four (4) gift card raffles and light refreshments served.

Twenty Something Committee will host Friday Night at the Movies on Friday, June 26, 2009 and on the second and fourth Fridays of the month thereafter at 7:00 PM in the Spring Terrace third floor lounge. Guests will vote to play from a selection of films to watch and served light refreshments. There will be an opportunity to choose a movie theme and selection of movies for the next Friday movie night.

At its meeting held on June 11th, the Members of Resident Council of Spring Terrace Association approved the agenda and adopted new business, in summary:
- To introduce Zeynep Kleiman vice Stacey Yates as Resident Services Coordinator at Spring Terrace;
- To receive an announcement by President Brian Yarbrough that Resident Council may receive up to $40.00 per month from the Spring Terrace resident services petty cash budget for activities; and
- To direct the Executive Committee to designate either the Treasurer or another officer who is authorized and directed to apply for and maintain a sales tax permit for the state of Texas.
Many thanks to Senior Police Officer Roman Lopez of Austin Police Department for sharing tips to prevent crime and promote community safety, including starting an Apartment Residents on Watch program for the Spring Terrace apartment community.
The next Regular Membership meeting is set to July 9, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Spring Terrace third floor community lounge.

At the June 7th meeting of the Twenty Something Committee, its Chair J. Jonathan Kincaid discussed and initiated the committee’s agenda, and it included, in summary:
- To announce new funding from Spring Terrace’s resident service petty cash budget for activities;
- To discuss and agree to hold Friday Nights at Movies each second and fourth Fridays of the month;
- To discuss requesting food and door prizes and other items from Spring Terrace’s resident services for the activities;
- To discuss items which can be used for future fundraising events and obtaining a Sales Tax Permit; and
- To discuss bringing more members into activities and regular membership and committee meetings;
All future meetings take place on the first and third Sunday of the month. The next Twenty Something Committee meeting is set to June 21, 2009 at 6:00 PM in the Spring Terrace third floor lounge.
